Day 1. Saturday
- Arrive
at Shannon airport midday - We will meet flights upon arrival and
drive to Springfield Castle in
Co. Limerick, where we will have a chance to relax,
sauna and unwind with drink or a nice cup of tea. Springfield's
history dates back over 500 years and will be your private home
while in Ireland. A
casual dinner will be served.

Day 2. Sunday
A
leisurely morning and full Irish breakfast
Today is a day for you to relax, walk the private grounds, or catch up
on your sleep! For those interested, we can also arrange a trip
into the local village of Adare
or some hiking nearby.
Casual drinks with our trainer,
Aidan O'Connell before dinner.
Mary, our cook and dear friend,
will make dinner for us, with stories to tell!

Day 3. Monday
Rise
early for a full Irish breakfast.
Evaluation
and pre-hunting clinic with Aidan on the newly built course at the Adare
Manor. We will meet up with those of us not riding, for a lovely
light lunch at the Manor.
Non-riders
can enjoy the village of Adare and many other places of interest.
Cocktails
and Dinner at the Dunraven Arms.
Day 4. Tuesday
Rise
early for Mary O'Connell's home cooked breakfast.
Drive
to the town of Gort, Galway, and where the cross-country course is
located on a 1200- acre private estate. Our gracious hostess and
owner of Lough Cutra Castle
will provide a wonderful lunch. You may ride in the morning and
afternoon or break at lunch for a look at the countryside.
The town of Ennis, with its interesting antique shops, is just a
short drive away. Or you can visit the
Burren and the Cliffs
of Moher. Some of you may wish to stay closer to
Springfield where you can walk the 200 acres of grounds, go for a
hike in the nearby Mullaghhareirk Mts, or just curl up next to the
fire with a good book.

Day 5. Wednesday
Irish Breakfast.
Hunting
- our day will depend on the countries we hunt, our skill levels and
the locations of the hunt.
Dinner
at The
Mustard Seed, near Adare Co. Limerick.
Day 6. Thursday
Breakfast.
Another day of hunting
and touring.
Dinner
to be arranged.
Day 7. Friday
Full
Irish breakfast.
Today
we will have a chance to enjoy the sights of Co. Limerick. The
prehistoric ruins of Lough
Gur are well worth seeing, and we can also visit the
"yard" of our friends, Marion and Billy Flavi at Alston
House Stud in Croom. For those interested in a custom hunt coat, a
trip to Co. Limerick would not be complete without a visit to
Michael Frazre's shop in the town of Hospital.
Shopping
in Limerick City. Antique shops and museums are available for our
"non horsey folk".
Early
evening meal.
Cocktail
party with friends at Springfield Castle.
Day 8. Saturday
Continental
breakfast.
We
will move on to our new accommodation, a fabulous
country house in Co. Tipperary.*
Visit
to Coolmore
Stud, a private Stud and home of 'Saddler's Wells", one the
world's top stallions!
Dinner
at Chez Hans at the base of the Rock
of Cashel.
Day 9. Sunday
Ride
out or Hunt in Co. Tipperary.
For
those of us not riding, you will have a chance to decide for
yourselves what you would like to do. The Rock
of Cashel and Cahir
Castle are nearby.
Dinner
to be arranged.
Day 10. Monday
Hunting
in Co. Tipperary.
Explore
the local countryside.
Farewell
dinner and drinks at McCarthy's Pub in the town of Fethard.
Day 11. Tuesday
Depart
early for all flight connections.
Don't forget that traveling to
