Day 4. Tuesday
Rise early for Mary O'Connell's home cooked breakfast.
to the town of Gort, Galway, and where the cross-country course is
located on a 1200- acre private estate. Our gracious hostess and
owner of Lough Cutra Castle
will provide a wonderful lunch. You may ride in the morning and
afternoon or break at lunch for a look at the countryside.
The town of Ennis, with its interesting antique shops, is just a short drive away. Or you can visit the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher. Some of you may wish to stay closer to Springfield where you can walk the 200 acres of grounds, go for a hike in the nearby Mullaghhareirk Mts, or just curl up next to the fire with a good book.
Dinner to be arranged.
Day 5. Wednesday

Today we will have a chance to enjoy the sights of Co. Limerick. The prehistoric ruins of Lough Gur are well worth seeing, and we can also visit the "yard" of our friends, Marion and Billy Flavi at Alston House Stud in Croom. For those interested in a custom hunt coat, a trip to Co. Limerick would not be complete without a visit to Michael Frazre's shop in the town of Hospital.
Shopping in Limerick City. Antique shops and museums are available for our "non horsey folk".
